The founder of the famous SONY Corporation, the late Mr. Masaru Ibuka, having been a patient of Dr. Omura and an honorary President of the Bi-Digital O-Ring Test Medical Society in Japan, described the importance of Dr. Omura's Bi-Digital O-Ring Test in his biography and during the First Biennial International Symposium of the Japan Bi-Digital O-Ring Test Medical Society in 1990, stating:
